March Update

We are in the middle of March and here
in Namibia we are beginning to enter the
winter months. That means the dry season
is almost upon us.

This month we have added another activity
to the mission. We have begun to start teaching
skills in woodworking/carpentry.
In the picture above I am with Mathews showing
him how to use a skill saw.
Mathews is an orphaned young man who had
the initiative to come to us at the mission. He
does some work for us during the day and is
willing to learn.
In back of Mathews and me you can see a bed
frame that we made. Mathews was in need of
one and our first project was to make it for him.
With our woodworking/carpentry instruction we
hope to fill in a big need for the young people
here in Omega to gain some vocational training.
Many many of the people here in our village have
no skill in areas such as electrical, plumbing
and carpentry.
Our training is open to anyone within the village
whom is sincere in learning.

We also have added 7 more children to our
kindergarten and now we are up to 42.

We are continuing to try our best and slowly with
the help of God, we will be able to do his work
to the best of our ability.
